EVERY EFFORT HAS BEEN MADE TO CONTINUE OPERATIONS AT THE WAREHOUSE DESPITE STAFF ABSENCES.

The Ministry of Commerce, Manufacturing, Business Development, Cooperatives and Consumer Affairs is aware that a significant portion of our staff complement assigned to the Government Supply Warehouse reported sick today. Despite these absences, however, the Ministry assures all stakeholders that every effort has been made to continue operations at the Warehouse without major disruption or delay.

Management has proactively contacted the relevant union to seek clarification on this developing situation. The union has confirmed that it is not aware of any planned or ongoing strike action by its members.

The Ministry of Commerce remains committed to maintaining essential support services and will continue to monitor the situation closely. Updates will be provided as necessary.
