SJC'S JEANIC POLIUS WINS THE NATIONAL TOURISM PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION.
The Ministry of Tourism has announced that Jeanic Polius, a proud student of St. Joseph's Convent, has emerged victorious in the 2025 National Tourism Public Speaking Competition.
With a powerful and insightful speech, Jeanic Polius captured the hearts of judges and spectators, rising above a field of exceptional young speakers from across the island.
Jeanic Polius has now earned the prestigious title of Junior Minister for Tourism 2025! As part of this honour, Ms. Polius will represent Saint Lucia at the 2025 Regional Tourism Youth Congress, engaging with fellow youth leaders from across the Caribbean to discuss the future of regional tourism.
Hon. Ernest Hilaire, Minister for Tourism, remarked: “This competition continues to spotlight the passion, intellect, and vision of our youth. Jeanic Polius is a shining example of the leadership that will guide Saint Lucia’s tourism sector forward.”
