THE EVENT WILL FEATURE A WIDE RANGE OF LOCAL PRODUCE, PLANTS, AND AGRO-PROCESSED GOODS.
The Taiwan Mission, in collaboration with the Laborie/Augier Constituency Council will host a farmers festival in Laborie, on Friday, May 2.
The event celebrates all things agriculture and will feature a wide range of local produce, plants, agro-processed goods, and sustainable farming practices. The festival aims to support local farmers, promote agricultural development, and strengthen community ties through shared experiences.
The Laborie Farm Fest will be held at the newly-renovated Laborie Market, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be held under the theme “Agriculture: Together We Grow”.
Please note that the opening ceremony will commence at 2 p.m. sharp. Speakers will include HE Nicole Su, Taiwan's Ambassador to Saint Lucia; and Hon. Alva Baptiste, Minister for External Affairs, International Trade, Civil Aviation and Diaspora Affairs, and Parliamentary Representative for Laborie/Augier.
Laborie Farm Fest 2025 will offer something for everyone, making it the perfect family day out. Booths will showcase the best of what the Laborie and Augier communities have to offer. There will also be lots of entertainment.
